Job Summary

The Store Keeper must have the ability to manage a store, proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision, can work under pressure when required, ability to anticipate and rapid decision making, team player with communication skills, ability to interpret documents such as safety rules and store handling instruction

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Keep a record of sales and restock the store accordingly.

·         Manage and train store staff.

·         Plan promotional campaigns for new products or specials.

·         Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized.

Mediate any confrontations between staff and clients, and de-escalate the situation

Job Requirements

COMPETENCIES: -

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Must be organized and punctual.

·         Well-presented and professional.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:-

·         A high school qualification or equivalent.

Experience: -

·        1-2 years of prior experience in retail, preferably in an FMCG warehouse position, would be advantageous.
