The project consist of two main assignments: 1) To Develop a Business Plan, and 2) To Develop a Non-Revenue Water Reduction Strategic Plan for six utilities in the Oromia region in Ethiopia. The objective is to work with the utilities in assessing the status of the business plan, Non- Revenue Water Reduction and develop a clear and implementable working document for each utility to improve the operational efficiency and manage the service delivery in an effective manner.

Qualifications required
Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.

A minimum of a Master's Degree in Civil/Environmental/Hydraulic Engineering or a relevant equivalent and must be registered with a recognized Professional body.

Professional experience required

General experience:
- A minimum of 15 years overall experience with at least 10 years in the water sector and at least 3 years in developing countries.
Specific experience:
- A minimum of: 8 years' experience in water treatment and development of large urban water supply systems especially in the area of instrumentation, DMA design and implementation, non-revenue water, metering, auditing, planning etc.
- Experience from previous work with utilities.
- Experience from the region would be an advantage.
