Debebe & Mekonnen Audit and Consulting Service Partnership is an Ethiopian professional Firm of Chartered Certified Accountants empowered to carry out audits, accounting and consulting service in accordance with the necessary licenses obtained from Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia and Practicing Certificates obtained from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. We are looking potential Candidate for our clients for the following position.

Main accountabilities of the position

• Ensures all Payments and collection comply with requirements of Ethiopian Tax Proclamation, regulation, directives and circulars and Company Policies.
• Responsible for accurate and timely posting of all financial transactions.
• Responsible for reconciliation of control and subsidiary accounts, reconciliation of records with Vendors and Customer accounts.
• Responsible for import cost build up, Inventory movement’s e.t.c.
• Ensures statutory tax obligations (VAT, Withholding and employee income tax and others) are timely and accurately settled and reconciled with the accounting record.
• Responsible for monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
• Ensures compliances related to advance payments, credit terms, and other company policies.
• Responsible for proper documentation of accounting and Finance records.

Education, work experience and language

• BA in Accounting and related fields.
• A Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Mastery in Peachtree accounting software and MS Excel
• Experience in Import and Export business are encouraged.
• Proficiency in Spoken and Witten English and Amharic languages is a must.
