Consultancy Objective

It is to seek professional service to develop digital training and coaching materials for soft skill development of RAYEE project targeted women and men youth. The main deliverables are: (1) Production of digital training materials for soft skill training drawing on existing curricula provided by the SNV –RAYEE project,; and (2) Preparation and delivery of training for the project staff, service providers and stakeholders selected by the project on application of the digital training materials produced.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

5 years of specialized firm experience in various digital training materials development led by a professional with degree and practical work background especially in soft skill training and education. The firm should have proven background of delivering digital soft skill training.

  •   Degree in the software engineering or ICT development or designing and developing digital platforms for training whereas Soft skill training is preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to designing audio visual digital training content using whiteboards and animation for Ethiopian youth context through considering gender issues.
  • Experience of working with similar assignments developing digital audio visual  training for young people (minimum: at least two audio visual training materials  broadcasted at website , YouTube , Facebook , telegram and other digital platforms in the past five years).
  • Ability to write and speak in English as well as Amharic, fluency in local languages like Tigrina and Afaan Oromo is preferable.
  • Ability to work with local staff with respect, maturity and impartiality.

Both the technical and financial proposals should be in a separate sealed and stamped envelope by writing the name of the specific assignment.

2% withholding tax will be deducted from the consultant fees at the source and will be paid by SNV – Ethiopia, assuming a TIN number and license can be provided, otherwise 30% withholding tax will be deducted.
