we are seeking to hire a Chief Business Development Officer whose role will impact our growth and expansion plan through viable social ventures, including establishing and executing the organization’s Business Development strategy consisting of identifying target customers, establishing pricing, managing the execution of sales strategy, and refining our earned revenue model.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Business Development Strategies and Plans;
  • Asses and identify gaps within the Business Development strategic progress and development;
  • Conducting analysis and collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities;
  • Investigate existing services and compare them with competitors;
  • Analyze customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company services, and suggest strategic recommendations for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Build, encourage, and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and retention of existing clients;
  • Prepare strategic and analytical report for upper management;
  • Oversee the proper implementation of suggested plans and strategies;
  • Analyze financial data and develop effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits;
  • Meeting with potential clients and present company offerings and negotiating business deals;
  • Contacting potential partners and clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings;
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients;
  • Educate, lead and supervise members of the business development team to ensure the project's achievement.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s/ PhD in business management, administration, Communication, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years or above experience working in business development within international organizations and Consultancy
  • Excellent communication skills, and a team player in diverse national and international teams.
  • Strong business acumen, detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English language
  • Abilities of working in tight timeframe and deliver within deadlines
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership roles and strategic business plan development and implementation
  • Strong influencing and relationship skills with ability to authentically connect and deliver value
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate cross- functionally
  • Ability to discern and prioritize opportunities and invest in high impact pursuits
  • Expert at forecasting and high-level data analysis
  • proven track record of providing actionable solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
