Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Overseeing all aspects of the building process,
  • Working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables,
  • Determine labor and material costs. They are responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope.
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • Selecting tools and materials
  • Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
  • Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
  • Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
  • Selecting tools and materials
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Education & Experience
  • BSC in Engineering, Construction Management ¬†and related fields
  • 7 or more years of experience.
