ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF WASH COORDINATOR
Roles and responsibilities of Data Clerk
With the supervision and technical support of Monitoring, evaluation and Learning Officer, the data clerk is responsible to cross-check the data before the entry and timely encoded into the data base. Besides, the data clerk should have established smooth relationship with social service worker and other key staffs for cultivating fertile environment for successful programming. S/he is responsible to produce sound able and quality data and genuine to easily track the status of the data and with close collaboration of MEL officer.
Specific Function and Responsibilities
- Gathers and complies various data such as Family and child information, field assessment forms and other paper inputs from OVC care and support, Economic strengthening and community referral linkage and social service workers and other relevant body into set databases;
- Enter data in a timely and accurate manner into Program databases;
- Provide databases to National and International Offices and Track basic statistics and trends from the data, in collaboration with the team;
- Prepare updated figures and information requests, as requested by program staffs and national organization;
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities when necessary;
- Process beneficiaries and source documents by reviewing data; resolving discrepancies or returning incomplete documents to the Social service workers/officers or concerned co-workers for resolution;
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures;
- Reconcile data entries with hard copies, to ensure proper entry and cross checking;
- Verify entered beneficiaries data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data;
- Secure information by completing data base backups;
- Maintain beneficiaries’ confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential;
- Other duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Education: First Degree ICT, computer science and any social science field with data base experience, knowledge and experience work, excel, power point, database-particularly DHS and others
- Experience: 2 Years
