SUMMARY
Reporting to the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager assists the General Manager to plan, develop, implement and oversee company initiatives and projects. She or he oversees the company’s operations, has budgeting responsibilities and is involved in hiring and evaluating company employees. She or he also assumes the General Manager's responsibilities in his absence.
JOB DUTIES
Provide an efficient, effective focused HR service, which supports all aspects of the employee’s relationship and engagement with the Organization including recruitment, terms and conditions of employment, training and development activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Organization policies
- Practices leadership in a manner that is viewed positively and has the support of those with whom he/she works most directly in carrying out his/her responsibilities

- Creates an organizational climate conducive to constructive employee & labor relations
- Develops and implements a personal professional development plan for his/her ongoing professional improvement Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice
- Take responsibility for the implementation and updating of all HR policy, ensuring that all HR issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the procedures of the Organization and that HR policies conform with current legislation.
- Ensure all data on manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required
- Undertake projects as agreed with general manager
- Manage human resources and hiring process of new employees
- Manage overall day-to-day coordination when General Manager is not on-site.
- Making sure all government licenses and registrations are up to date
- Making sure all location contracts are up to date
- Going to authorization office to sign contracts on behalf of the company
- Proving GM with stock out and monthly budget for management decisions
- Coordinate with HR clerk and other departments to insure that all needed staff are available
