Brief Background

Wako Gutu Foundation is a non-governmental development organization established with the overall objective of promoting inclusion of pastoral and agro-pastoral communities in the development process and ensuring that the pastoral and agro-pastoral communities are sufficiently benefiting from the development gains realized in the country. Recently, the foundation is seeking professional services in the following position for its MEAL & HEALTH Project being implemented in Gura Dhamole Woreda of Bale Zone Oromia Regional State.

Purpose: to mobilize, coordinate and lead the project staff and other partners of the project for effective implementation of project activities toward the realization of the indicated outcomes in the Gura Dhamole Woreda district.

Terms of Employment:- One year contract with possibility of extension

Duty Station: Gura Dhamole Woreda

Qualifications:

Education: - BSc/MSc Degree in Agricultural Extension, Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Resource Management and related from recognized higher education institutions.

Experience: - Five years working experience for BA and three years for MA, out of which two years are in coordination position. Working in the NGO sector is advantageous.

Skills: - Demonstrated coordination skills, team building, self-reliance, community mobilization, and communication skills are highly valued.

Language: - Excellent in speaking and writing Afaan Oromo, and English.
