Description
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Finance Assistant who ensures implementation of operational strategies focusing on achievement of full compliance of financial processes and financial records with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, policies and strategies; provides accounting and administrative support to the Finance Unit; ensures proper CO cash management system functioning and supports knowledge
building and knowledge sharing.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Completion of Secondary Education with specialized certification in Accounting or Finance. University Degree in Accounting is desirable, but it is not a requirement.
- Interested applicants must have at least five years of relevant experience (two years with University Degree) and experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems.
Contract type : Fixed Term Appointment (G5) – * Fixed Term Appointment is a staff contractual modality.
Duration : One year (renewable).
