Finance Officer

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Finance Officer who would be responsible for programme/project financial management ensuring the success of reform activities and the work of the Federal Attorney General’s Office and s/he is also expected to closely work with the Programme and Operations Teams in UNDP.

Contract type: Service contract (SB4) – * Service Contract is a non-staff contractual modality.
Duration: One year (renewable).
Qualification and experience: University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or finance related field.

Interested applicants must have at least four years of relevant finance and administrative experience in program/project support services with the United Nations; familiarity with UN Agencies Programme Implementation and reporting requirements, disbursement procedures, submission of withdrawal applications and the maintenance of Designated Accounts; and usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.) as well as handling of web-based management systems.
