TAMENE SHIFFERAW W/TSADIK, is a garment manufacturing company engaged in the production of Ready to Wear garments for children, men’s, women’s, etc.  Currently we’re looking for qualified candidates for the following vacant position:

The finance officer is expected to monitor company’s financial transactions, budget preparations, budget control, costing and preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities are:

• Keep accurate records of all the company’s daily transactions
• Record accounts payables and accounts receivables
• Reconcile bank statements
• Track bank deposits and payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Review and implement financial policies of the company to guarantee operational efficiency
• Manage company’s budget preparation and planning of budgets
• Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes
• Contribute to financial audits
• Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problem
• process monthly payroll and other payments
• Process government taxes on timely manner
• preparation of product costing and cost control
• Manage stock-room workers and develop strategies to control receiving and shipping of materials against invoices

Requirements and qualification

• Proven work experience as a finance officer or similar role with experience of garment industries for a minimum of two years
• Solid knowledge of financial and auditing procedures
• Experience using MS-office software (Excel, Word, etc.) and financial software
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• BSC degree in finance or accounting
