The Company has been engaged in the supply of construction materials, rental of construction equipment & construction of buildings.

We invite qualified applicant for the following vacant position:

Summary of Duty & Responsibility:

  • Under general supervision of General Accounts Division, Employee is responsible for preparation of payments, preparation of payroll, preparation payroll tax declarations, preparation of Journal Vouchers, participate in the annual physical inventory counts and other related duties

Duties & Responsibility:

  • Preparation of payments based on approved source documents
  • Issue cheques to the authorized recipient against receipts or signature on the Cheque Payment Vouchers
  • Preparation of monthly payroll and wages
  • Preparation of accounting journal vouchers
  • Prepare and declare income tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare pension contribution tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare withholding tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare VAT to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Follow up clearance/settlement of purchases or advance payments
  • Reconciliation of ledger balance against bank statement
  • Preparation of cash status balance every day
  • Assist the General Accounts in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
  • Prepare and report daily cash book recorded/collection and disbursement/and report daily to the department
  • Assist in the year-end closing of book of accounts
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory counts
  • Ensure that after payment, cheque payment vouchers and supporting documents are stamped “paid” and cross-references with each other
  • File and proper handling of financial documents
  • Perform other related activities as required

Job Requirements

  Qualification Requirements:

Education :

  • B.A. Degree in Accounting

Work Experience :

  • 2 years & above experience.

Language:

  •  Good English communication skills both written and spoken
