Role Profile

The Global Mobility Expert

Ø Plan, organize and lead the entire relocation process from start to finish

Ø Coordinating various relocation & destination services including; home search, school search, local orientation, settling-in & departure services, temporary accommodation, visa & immigration services, policy counselling, Intercultural and Language counseling and household goods moving.

Ø Serve as the main point of contact for assignees and their families, updating them throughout the relocation as well as handling any escalations that arise from clients.

Ø Develop successful relationships, both internally and externally using the international relocation and global mobility knowledge

Ø Ensure that a consistent service is delivered by following international relocation processes

Ø Liaise with clients and their employees with the scale and capacity to handle global and domestic relocation and mobility programs,

Ø Develop partnership to corporations managing their global talent and the mix of in-house delivery and help selected service partners are able to coordinate the simplest move to the most complex mobility requirements.

Ø Carry out pre-assignment briefing and orientation with customers

Ø Develop creative solutions to a variety of diverse and complex problems and produce cost projections and calculates assignment compensation

Ø Working with Recruiting department and the external relocation vendor to ensure candidates’ and the company’s needs are handled in a timely manner

Ø Communicating relocation packages, answering questions and resolving escalated issues

Ø Supporting the Immigration team with employee visa and permit license process

Ø Communicate and consult with internal customers regarding all global mobility policies and standards to ensure understanding and compliance and recommend enhancements, improvements and simplification of existing processes and procedures, based on experience and feedback from customers

Ø Facilitate, coordinate, and submit business visa and work visa applications to embassies and consulates consistent with standardized processes

Ø Search and create visa processes for new work locations and communicate these to the appropriate personnel

Ø Identify and assess the needs of the assignee (their partner/families, moving experience, their service needs and any support they require)

Ø Responsible to manage and address any inquires in the local and global mobility

Ø Search global and local mobility information in the country and hunt market to achieve target and help people’s movement.

Ø Responsible to oversee and manage all electronic files to ensure documentation maintained for global mobility population

Ø Work with and develop partnership relationship with agencies and is responsible to review, oversee and manage monthly active list reporting related to global mobility program and or escalation as needed

Required Competencies

  • Tracking and monitoring progress of all applications and maintain constant contact with all relevant agents to evaluate progress
  • Accuracy in dealing with time and keep appointments

  • Planning, strategies, budgets, and develop creative solutions to business needs across the world
  • Consult with managers and business leaders on global mobility to ensure established policies and procedures are administered consistently
  • An ability to grasp complex Issues
  • Strong counseling and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

Education: - BA degree in Tourism management, Marketing Management, Business Management and Management

Work experience: - A minimum of 2 years’ experience with similar positions
