Project Description:

Our company is looking for a professional and experienced, Full-Time GPS Technician for the installation/removal of electronic monitoring equipment. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment that is ready for operational use and inspection of all the monitoring devices that have been returned upon completion of the program.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Installation of tracking and speed governor devices at client site
  • Troubleshooting of technical issues reported by clients
  • Ensuring timely resolution of client issues
  • Sourcing of new clients for the platform
  • Coordination of installation activities by other technicians of GPS devises
  • Monitoring and enforcement of up time all GPS installed units
  • Communication with clients to offer support on platform use
  • Use feedback from clients to propose system edits
  • Orientation will consist of providing them with specific instructions on how they will be expected to comply with the rules speed limiter integrated with GPS & speed recorder according to the Federal Transport Authority Policies and Procedures.
  • Inspect all equipment prior to installation for GPS devise.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports of GPS devise. These reports may include, but are not limited to, number of installations, troubleshoots, ...etc, monthly activation numbers.
  • Participate in Ginchi Trading group and team works

Job Requirements

Qualifications, Skills, competence or any requirement for the position

  • BSc Degree in Automotive, electrical or mechanical engineering / technology from known University
  • Minimum of one years’ experience in GPS tracking installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, supervising and related sectors
