Purpose of the job
The position holder will provide technical leadership for emergency health and nutrition program monitoring, evaluation and reporting. To ensure that the health and nutrition program is technically managed, functioning properly, providing care of quality to all the beneficiaries, respecting protocols and principles of good practice. The position holder will support Government staff and WV health and nutrition team for the smooth and accurate running of the health and nutrition program through planning, capacity building and supervision follows as per the national protocol. He/she Will ensure that the CMAM program is functioning properly, providing care of quality to all the beneficiaries, respecting protocols and principles of good practice. Will ensure effective nutrition and health programmes in line with humanitarian standards.
Number of Positions 3 (For Melkabelo, Habro and Tulo Weredas at East and West Harerge )
- BSc degree in Public Health/ Clinical Nursing/Nutrition and related health field of study
- Minimum five years working experience with NGOs in Emergency Health and Nutrition program;
- CMAM/SAM ToT training
- IYCF_E ToT,
- Relief and disaster management and development related,
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel to health facilities and kebeles up to 80 % of the time.
