Job Purpose
To enable adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, we are seeking a responsible occupational health and safety officer. The incumbent will advise on ways to minimize hazards or unhealthful working conditions and will also be vigilant for infractions.
Requirements and skills
• In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSH-ILO Guidelines /Ethiopian Government Guidelines), policies and procedures
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and writing reports
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Diligent with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
• BSc/BA in safety management, Environmental Health/Engineering or relevant field is preferred
• Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply
