The Companies in the group engaged in manufacturing (liquid soap, bar soap, Edible oil and shortening products), retail service providing, printing, trading and engineering. Based on this, our sister Company, Shemu Management Consultants PLC want to hire competent, energetic, enthusiastic and capable applicants for the post we have.

The Human Resource Officer Reports to:  Human Resource and OD Manger

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake office administration activities in HR and OD department;
  • Facilitate vacancy announcements, arrange interviews and facilitate all recruitment processes;
  • Managing employee attendance, payroll,  other benefits and compensation as instructed by immediate supervisor;
  • Manage office supplies stock in the department and place orders when necessary;
  • Keep Informed of new developments relating to his/her function and maintain a creative and experimental attitude toward change, in order to continuously improve the operation of his/her area of responsibility;
  • Keep his/her immediate supervisor informed of activities of the unit, particularly of major or unusual developments, and seeking his/her advice and counsel whenever necessary;
  • Create and maintain staff profile, accurate and complete personal files and non –personal documentation up-to-date file and organize records and achieve system;
  • Check references and backgrounds of candidates for different positions in recruitment process;
  • Write letters (official and personal) as per the forms and procedures of the company;
  • Arrange incoming applications and make first-phase screening both from internet and post office, and shortlist selected applicants;
  • Arrange PR/PO of the director and related documents in box files;
  • Audit factories personnel files and check the fulfillment of all the mandatory documents and inform to the concerned HR person on time;
  • Follow-up the approval of exit-clearances and other documents with the concerned bodies;
  •  Work closely with the HR team and be an active learner;
  • Organize induction training with HRD Division of Corporate Office;
  • Organize and maintain monthly payroll information for all Companies under Shemu Group;
  • Perform other related tasks and support the team as per the assignment by the immediate Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of B.A. degree in HRM, Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Personnel Management or related field of study from recognized university of which 3/5 years of experience;
  • Very high train-ability and learning interest;
  • Very strong interest to grow professionally;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong Clerical ability;
  • Good in document handling;
  • Work under pressure and attention to details;
  • Computer literate especially word and excel;
  • Literate in use of ERP package(Like Microsoft Nav);
  • Working experience in manufacturing sector is preferable.
