Ø Assist the Industrial Engineering Manager in designing the Factory and line layout. Identify opportunities for improving the Factory layout and recommend changes to the Industrial Engineering Manager as needed.
Ø Using Industrial Engineering concepts, such as just-in-time and visual management, to identify material transport improvement opportunities. Implement improvement initiatives as agreed with Industrial Engineering Manager.
Ø Efficiency Improvement through work Content Reduction, work Aids, line Balancing, and machine Evaluation.
Ø Continuous Improvement: by assisting in applying Kaizen tools and systems and implementing projects such as the one-piece-flow production line which has learnings scalable to all production lines and providing adequate industrial engineering support to continually improve the production efficiencies through improvement in the balancing of production lines.
Ø Ergonomic Work Environment: identify key opportunities for cost-effective ergonomic improvement. Train employees on the benefits of ergonomics to ensure ergonomic standards are followed.
Ø Develop Incentive Scheme: assist in developing incentive schemes for workers.
Education: Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering
Experience: Hands-on experiences in production floor minimum 3 years
Ø Basis understanding of Kaizen, Efficiency, Operator work loading, Cycle time measurements and 5S
Ø Good analytical thinking
Ø Good problem solving
Ø Able to work individually with minimum supervision, as well as a team player
Ø Eager to learn new things
