Purpose of the job

Internal Communications Manager ensures employees of the organization are kept informed, are engaged and aligned on strategic objectives and builds pride in the organization and brands.

Internal communication

  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin.
  • Deliver presentations at organizational events
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
  • Build and maintain dialogue with key stakeholders (Stakeholder Management)
  • Deliver key communication materials in mixed media
  • Create and deliver programs to build understanding, motivation and involvement through relevant employee engagement programs
  • Organize and drive the  BeLik campaign with both internal and external partners
  • Play an active role in the Corporate Affairs department
  • Support other departments in communicating their projects
  • Maintain corporate sponsorship database with proper system compliance
  • Maintain budgetary information and processing of invoices for payment
  • Perform other activities as assigned by supervisor

Sustainability

  • Provide data and key inputs to region for strategic regional/global initiatives (Annual Sustainability Report, Green Gauge, Quarterly OpCo report)
  • Lead the Sustainability  team in the Coordinator role for quarterly reporting
  • Propose and execute local stability agendas that will allow the OpCo reach it sustainability commitment

Job Requirements

Education

  • BA in the fields of Communications, Public/Business Administration/ Marketing/Management/Business Administration Degree or equivalent

Experience

  • At least 2 year experience in a related field or industry preferably an  FMCG environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong grasp of the English language (grammar, spelling,) both written and oral.
  • Good story telling technique
  • Strong Project Management Skills
