Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) is an international organization working for global justice, currently operating in 24 countries. In Ethiopia, NCA is legally registered with Civil Society Organizations Agency as a Foreign Charity. NCA has maintained a presence in Ethiopia since 1974, undertaking both emergency and development activities in five thematic programs; namely, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Gender based Violence\Reproductive Health, Climate Resilience, Humanitarian Response and Peace Building. Currently NCA is working in Oromia, Amhara, Tigray, Somali, the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR) and Gambela National Regional States and the Addis Ababa City Administration.

The Gender Based Violence Programme of NCA, has been addressing harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage. Recognizing that these practices pose serious physical, mental and psychological consequences on women and girls, Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and Save the Children  (SC) in their fourth joint program propose a five-year project entitled “accelerating and cementing change towards the total abandonment of all forms of FGM and Child marriage”, have been implementing in six regional states (Afar, Somali, Amhara, Oromia, Harari and Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's (SNNP) Regions of Ethiopia.

NCA is seeking to recruit a local consulting firm with special expertise on monitoring and evaluation to carry out training on “Evidence based project implementation, monitoring and Sustainability” for NCA, SC and partner staffs, which can build their capacity to be held from August 25-27, 2021 in Hawassa.

Eligibility:

Bidders must have renewed trade licence/ certificates for 2013 E.C. (2019/20 G.C.), VAT, TIN, Registration Certificate and other supporting letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxes for government. Besides, a previous experience supported with certificates from client/s is/are mandatory.
