CCFC is pleased to invite qualified and registered consultant to submit their technical and financial proposal for the service of reviewing the organization’s accounting, financial system and procedures and providing technical support for establishment and adoption of International Public-Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

Key Tasks (Work) of the Consultant:

  • Undertake gap analysis between the existing CCFC’s financial system and IPSAS requirements.
  • Draw and develop recommendations, specific strategies and design process for the implementation of International Public-Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
  • Orient staff of CCFC on principles of IPSAS.
  • Provide on-the-job /practical training on the implementation of IPSAS including system set up, generating IPSAS financial reports, disclosures and documentation
  •  Including key elements of the requirement of IPSAS set by Ethiopia Government in the existing Financial policy

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

The consultant who can meet the following minimum qualifications are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals.

  • MA Degree in accounting and or financial management from recognized university.
  • Experience of at least of 4 years in the field of financial accounting in the international NGOs.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in audit and reporting under International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS) and adopting and implementing International Public-Sector Accounting Standards(IPSAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience in capacity building (training) on establishing financial system and application of IPSAS
