Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Head to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions of our clients and coordinate the Help desk to support their need. IT Support Head has the primary objective of driving the vision for consistency in customer support standards. IT Support Head monitor and maintain our client’s computer systems, data center, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be expected to be developed and finalized over time and will include but will not be restricted to:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and client requests
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Possibly training more junior staff members
  • Coordinates training and orientation for new technology user clients and helps them become familiar with system and networks
  • Ensures all clients benefit from effective technology and efficient Internet access
  • Organizes the requested support from clients to troubleshoot and repair with timely manner
  • Discuses with staffs or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Provide procedural documentation and relevant reports to the Technical Lead and clients
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Prioritize and manage many support open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with clients and other professionals
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipments

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • BSc  in computer science, Computer engineering or IT related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience as IT Support Head or similar role
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • There is often pressure to work as fast as possible to deal with problems and achieve immediate results in all situations
  • Experience in Microsoft windows server administration

Required Skills

  • A good memory of how software and operating systems work
  • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
  • The ability to work well with a team
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think logically
  • A strong customer focus
  • The ability to prioritize workload
  • Attention to detail.

Any of the following Certification will be a plus

MSCA, CCNA R&S, CCNA Security, Network+, Security+, A+
