Ø  Collect environmental samples using aseptic technique from variety of locations for microbiological testing.

Ø  Prepare the required Microbiological media necessary for analysis

Ø  Perform Microbiological testing of finished product, raw materials, intermediate products and the environment in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations to ensure quality and food safety.

Ø  Monitor, adjust, create and validate test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Ø  Inspect the manufacturing process to check for possible contamination and recommend appropriate action.

Ø  Conduct advanced assessments and analyses; performs microbiologist assignments that are recognized as more complex.

Ø  Perform and follow microbiology quality assurance and quality control protocol and procedure.

Ø  Generate, analyze and interpret microbiological data and observations and data from experiments performed and prepare reports.

Ø  Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, improve protocols, processes and equipment

Ø  Communicate deviations, progress and interim results to the Management team.

Ø  Record, analyze and interpret result of the analysis.

Ø  Safely operate and maintain laboratory equipment and Keep lab equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition
