|Microbiologist undertake laboratory analysis and monitoring of Microbial cultures, process Raw materials, Process, finished product samples. Microbiologist is responsible for ensuring that microbiological quality and standards of products are upheld while also collaborate with other team members to offer microbiological support in terms of selecting and evaluating preservative systems in all diary products.|
|Duties & Responsibilities|
Ø Collect environmental samples using aseptic technique from variety of locations for microbiological testing.
Ø Prepare the required Microbiological media necessary for analysis
Ø Perform Microbiological testing of finished product, raw materials, intermediate products and the environment in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations to ensure quality and food safety.
Ø Monitor, adjust, create and validate test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Ø Inspect the manufacturing process to check for possible contamination and recommend appropriate action.
Ø Conduct advanced assessments and analyses; performs microbiologist assignments that are recognized as more complex.
Ø Perform and follow microbiology quality assurance and quality control protocol and procedure.
Ø Generate, analyze and interpret microbiological data and observations and data from experiments performed and prepare reports.
Ø Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, improve protocols, processes and equipment
Ø Communicate deviations, progress and interim results to the Management team.
Ø Record, analyze and interpret result of the analysis.
Ø Safely operate and maintain laboratory equipment and Keep lab equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition
BSc Degree in Applied Biology and related field of studies from recognized university or College
Experience is not required
Good communication skill in English
