Junior HR Officer shall be accountable to the college administration and finance and under the supervision of the Head of Administration and Finance the duties and responsibilities of the J. HR Officer are as follows:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- The HR Officer Registration of candidate if any position advertised.
- Manage the implementation and monitoring of HR processes including recruitment and selection, employment contracts and variations, starters and leavers, employment checks, induction, mandatory/other training, probationary period review, performance and development review, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, flexible working requests and the evaluation of training, providing appropriate support and coaching to all management to ensure full compliance with policies and procedures.
- Summarizing qualified applicant for the position
- Arranging written exam and interview date with the concerned department unit
- Summarizing the written exam and interview result and inform to the selected candidate
- Follow up of employee attendance
- Creating and distributing documents and providing customer service.
- Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment hard copy of their work, or more commonly, a computer data entry system.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies, as requested.
- Collaborate with staff and monitor all formal and informal grievances procedures and evaluate all laws for same.
- Co-ordinate learning and development events for college staff, as required, and participate in the delivery of events as relevant.
- Follow up the staff’s contract renewal on time.
- Follow up of payment for the part time staffs
- Perform other assignments as needed
Job Requirements
Required Educational level/Specialization
- BA Degree/Diploma in HR, personnel management/administration, Supervisory management, PADM, Business administration and related field of study
Years of Experience
- 2 Years for BA and 4 Years and above for diploma
Mode of employment
- One year contract with possible extension based on performance (Full Time).
