Key skills, qualities, and educational background include:

• Bachelor’s degree in related subject
• Experience in Library Operating Systems and teaching Information Skills to children and teens
• A high degree of computer literacy and administrative communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant curriculum and learning and assessment theory
• Effective classroom management techniques
• Commitment to positive communication with all stakeholders
• Passion for excellent education
• Willingness to learn

Desired but negotiable

• Experience running a school library, and the necessary skills to set up our new library when it is built
• Degree in Library Science/ Library Management,
• Teaching qualification and/or experience working with children in a library context
• Management experience
