Direct Report(s): Supply Chain Team, Operations Team, Marketing & Customer Service

 

What We Need:

We are looking for a highly energetic, creative and dynamic Logistics Coordinator to oversee organizational processes of a fast-growing e-commerce startup and continue help us protocols and strategy for long-term business success.

In this position, you will oversee and manage our entire supply chain. You will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity with an eye on all stages of the order cycle.

Our overall goal is to find the right person who will drive the 'Do it right the first time' culture to manage the entire supply chain process while , enhancing business growth, ensuring sustainability, and increasing customer satisfaction. To that effect, we like to encourage repeat business among our customers, therefore, so we take customer service seriously. The person in this role is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and concerns and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position.

 

This person will be responsible for all elements of a fast-paced eCommerce logistics and supply chain environment, including maintenance of warehouses and collaboration with operations teams.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth daily logistics operation, maintain high customer experience and growth
  • Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
  • Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers, retailers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
  • Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. delivery truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management
  • Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible
  • Prepare accurate invoices

 

What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Analytics (preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in customer service or logistics management
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Can't stress this enough - attention to detail!
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and bring them to completion
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Extremely organized, no-excuses type, task-oriented and driven to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and time-management skills
  • Effective communication skills to work across the organization and outside vendors
  • Strong work ethic combined with a "team-first" mentality
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (project management software, ERP, CRM)
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
  • Knowledge of consumer goods production and supply chain a plus
