The mandate is to expand the software business within Ethiopia. In this role, the marketing and sales officer will assume responsibility for generating new leads and closing business in mid to large organizations in Ethiopia.
Job Requirements
- Has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing or related field.
- Has a minimum of 3 years’ of experience selling services or software
- Be a results-oriented individual with proven closing skills.
- Be a sales hunter who can work independently to expand and open new accounts.
- Has met or exceeded previous sales goals and targets.
- Has marketing experience on both social media and traditional space.
- Preferably a digital native.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Should be able to develop accurate written materials.
- Action orientated. Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
