The Center for Dermatology Care has an immediate need for one or more associates to join our growing dermatology practice in southern California. We are looking for full- or part-time general medical dermatologists and cosmetic dermatologists for our offices in Thousand Oaks, Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. Additional expertise in dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, or other areas may be desirable but is not required. Starting physicians would likely be busy seeing a near-full schedule of patients on their start date. Compensation is based on productivity and includes malpractice insurance and for full-time physicians health insurance is available. Ample vacation and continuing education leave time are included. Our main office is located in Thousand Oaks, which is a community of approximately 140,000 people, conveniently located half-way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. It is consistently ranked by Money Magazine and FBI statistics as one of the safest cities to live in the country and boasts several of Californias top 100 public schools. The city also has a two-year community college and four-year university. Weather is exceptional year round, and we are approximately 30 minutes to the beaches of Malibu or Channel Islands Harbor. A second office is located in Santa Barbara in a newly renovated free-standing medical office building close to the downtown district, Cottage hospital, local beaches and University of California at Santa Barbara. Finally, our third office is located in Carpinteria, a small oceanside community approximately 10 minutes south of Santa Barbara.
