Description

              • The Office Clerk shall perform the following tasks but not limited to:-
                • Collects and delivers mail, pouches and other communications to and from the ETLP premises;
                • Sorts, circulates and delivers files from various sections at regular intervals. Keeps records;
                • Packs material received for dispatch, affixes labels, inserts letters in outgoing envelopes dispatches outgoing mails to relevant partners
                • Schedule appointments, meetings, visits and receive customers or visitors
                • Support the PIU team by providing administrative and clerical support as requested, including in preparing, copying, collating, filing, distributing documents/mail and notifications;
                • Performs other duties as assigned.

                JOB REQUIREMENT

                 The desired Office Clerk should possess the following qualifications, Skill and Experience:

                • At least completing secondary school Grade 12 in the older system or equivalent in the new system.
                • A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a similar capacity and record of providing logistical and administrative support including during events and meetings as required.
                • Under the direct supervision of the Office Administrator/Assistant, ETLP the Office clerk performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties that often change daily with the needs of the specific job and the Project Office, including:
                • Performs a variety of administrative dutiessuch as answering telephones, typing documents, making copies of documents, maintaining records and liaising with clients
                • Picks up and carries messages and other items to specific locations& message point,
                • Provide logistical, hospitality and administrative support generally, including during events and meetings as required;
                • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival maintains telecom system and Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.

    • The evaluation criteria will be solely based on individual experience and qualifications as follows.
      • Qualification (30%).
      • Total years of Experience (40%). This criterion further divided into two: General Experience and Relevant Experience
      1. Specific Experience related IDA financed projects (10%).
      2. Relevant written exam and/or interview for a score of (20%).
