Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a real estate developer with multiple projects throughout Addis Ababa.

Job Description

• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed for the completion of a Hotel project
• Manage project teams including consultants, architects, Electrical Engineer, M&E engineer, Structural Engineer, Planner, Accountant, Procurement Manager
• Supervise and coordinate sub contractors and consultants
• Issue work orders to contractors and consultants
• Implement design and construction contracts
• Monitor progress against pre approved budget and time Schedule
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all teams
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
• Ensure project documents are complete

Qualification

• B.Sc in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology and Management
• 8+ years of relevant experience, out of which at least 3 years as a Project Manager
• Proficient in estimating, scheduling, budgeting cost, field supervision, financial reporting, and client relationships
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to direct, organize, and communicate with team members at all levels
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• Good decision making skills
