Location: Addis Ababa

The Quality coordinator will have the following tasks:

Pre-shipment samples dispatch follow up (daily & weekly recap)
Manage the laboratory including roasting, cupping & defect counts
On site coffee sampling at exporters warehouses
Provide regular status update reports to the head-office in Switzerland and to clients (weekly PSS approval, PSS status, shipping sample approval)
Reviewing customer feedback and understanding customer demands and expectations of products and services
Working with management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues
Reporting on the quality of products and/or services throughout all phases of production
Investigating root causes of defects and recommending solutions for quality issues
Onboarding and training new quality control team members and other staffs
Staying up to date with new quality control techniques and methods

The quality coordinator will report to the Country Manager in Ethiopia. He/She will be in direct communication with the Head-Office in Switzerland daily.

Skills and competencies

Fluent in English (written and oral)
University degree a plus
Rigorous, autonomous & service-oriented mindset
Experience in green coffee sector and Q grader is mandatory,
Advanced Microsoft skills in Excel; PowerPoint; Word.
