Background on JDC:

For over 105 years, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) has supported some of the world’s most vulnerable populations by offering immediate relief and helping communities grow their own capacity to respond to challenges that lie ahead. JDC responds to humanitarian crisis and addresses poverty in the developing world through sustainable innovation on behalf of and together with North American Jewry and global Jewish communities. JDC partners with local organizations as they are the vehicle for maximum impact, community resilience and sustainable change.

JDC is looking for partner organizations and businesses who have an innovative approach to create a sustainable improvement in the livelihoods of women in the region of Addis Ababa that demonstrate additional income generation program models and/or provide access to finance.

Organizations who can incorporate innovation and/or technology are encouraged to respond.

Pilot program duration up to 2 years.
