BBC Media Action is an independent, international charity set up by the BBC with the objective of using media to support international development. BBC Media Action works around the world to raise awareness and influence attitudes and behavior amongst communities, as well as to build capacity in the media sector in transitional countries.

BBC Media Action Ethiopia office is currently implementing a 10-month project in collaboration with the Jobs Creation Commission funded by the Packard Foundation to develop a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) strategy that aims to improve the resilience of young people in Ethiopia in relation to employment, education, and health, and support youth participation and community involvement. As part of this BBC Media Action plans to conduct quantitative research to understand young people’s knowledge, experiences, and views around employment
