Description
Duty Location: Guba Woreda, Benishangual Gumuz Regional State (Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project). For those applicants that will be shortlisted for interview or practical test which will be carried out at the project site, located at Guba Woreda, transportation, accommodation and meal services will be provided.

- Presence on-site for HSE Monitoring and Control,

- Pre-shift inspections / Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Tool Box Talk (TBT), all documented and reported,

- Conduct HSE inspections/audits and make reports,

- Hazard identification and Risk Assessments,
| | | | | | |
- Implementing preventive HSE Measures,
| | | | | | | |
- Conduct accident investigations and prepare reports,
| | | | | |
- Ensuring compliance with Emergency response and planning. Conduct emergency drills and prepare reports,

- Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, public holidays and Sundays when necessary,

Job Requirements
- NEBOSH International General Certificate, or comparable, and/or B.Sc. in Civil/hydraulics Engineering,
| |
- > 2 years of relevant work experience in HSE (Construction/Mechanical/Industrial),
| | | |
- Good communication skills,
| | | | | | | | |
- Good English skills, spoken and written,
- Good cultural awareness and sensitivity,
| | | | | | | |
- Good computer skills and knowledge about the most common Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel),
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline,
- Strong in handling insecure environment, planing and delivering results, empowering and building trust, communicating with impact and respect
