JOB REQUIREMENT

• Languages: Amharic and English mandatory, Afaan Oromo optional
•  Qualifications: MA/BA degree in Marketing, Management, Business Management preferable with particular focus in marketing from a recognized institution. Practical proven experience may count for more than pure qualifications.
•  Computer and multi-media: High level of skills in using Soft Ware such as excel, word, PowerPoint, Photoshop or similar including social media, TV and radio. Experienced in dealing with advertising companies and giving clear briefs as well as utilization of product brand companies.
• Other requirements: Good discipline, cooperation, commitment to work, good computer applications as per the job position.

Basic Requirements:

• Ideally a minimum of 7 years experience in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry preferably in Ethiopia. Proven performance in generating and directing the execution of marketing and sales strategies and forecasts, competitive analysis and product pricing strategies, achieving continued sales and profit growth. Must be experienced in utilising market; research, brand creation and advertising and promotion including use of multi-media.
• Assembling the right teams and establishing appropriate team structures to achieve the target goals. Set sales targets, incentive programmes and performance monitoring establishing regular feedback meetings and reports. Utilise best practice customer databases with continuous update on customer interface, market feedback etc. Set annual and monthly budgets for approval by the Management and submit and present monthly, half-yearly and annual reports to the same clearly highlighting performance, latest market trends, need for shifts in strategy and reasons for poorer performance in this should occur.
