Description
- 5+ years experience in Physical Security Industry, Sales Engineering/Pre-Sales role for a technology company.
- Strong understanding of the Access Control solutions.
- 2+ years installing, servicing, supporting Physical Security solutions for a manufacturer or Security Systems Integrator , must include installing, servicing or selling Access Control Solutions.
Technical
- Intimate knowledge and experience with Windows troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP communication.
- Experience with computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with network equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
Additional Knowledge/Skills
- Self-motivated and focused individual with a passion for technology and an aptitude for customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
- College degree, diploma of technology or 4 years of Military service with an Honorable Discharge.
- Prior experience in surveillance industry.
- Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications.
- Certification for any competitive Access Control Products (Lenel, SoftwareHouse, AMAG, RS2, S2, Open Options etc).
- Significant background in managing SQL, Oracle, LDAP database systems
Territory
- The Sales Engineer shall have the responsibility to cover the following ACM territories:Western North America (CA, NM, AZ, CO, WY, ID, MT, WA, OR, AK, NV, UT, HI, Western Canada)
**Candidate must reside within the territory listed above, preferably near a major metropolitan airport**

Travel Requirements
Over 50%
