We are recruiting a sales officer on behalf of our client,General Tools Trading (GTT) . GTT  is a retail store that sells construction and building materials to both domestic and international clients. 

Main Duties

·       Report to the office manager and carry out all duties as required

·       Greet and direct customers

·       Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)

·       Answer customers’ questions about specific products

·       Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing

·       Ensure racks are fully stocked

·       Manage returns of merchandise

·       Stay up to date with new products

·       Manage and maintain correspondence with clients seeking product information and request for proformas

·       Lead the office in participating in tender bids and proformas

·       A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related field

·       Three years’ work experience as a retail Sales Representative or similar role

·       Excellent customer service skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Amharic and English

·       Excellent computer skills (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook)

·       Understanding of the retail sales process

·       Familiarity with consumer behavior principles

·       Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

·       Basic math skills

·       Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
