Description
Our client, a manufacturing company based in Addis Ababa, is looking for competent applicants for the post of a Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities.
Ensuring accounts transactions and finalization of books of accounts, reconciliation and financial statements are complete as per applicable standards, statutory obligations and company policy.
Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
Ensuring all tax obligations are fulfilled on time and in full.
Other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Job Requirements
A degree in accounting / finance with a minimum 5 years experience
Taxation law knowledge
Strong computer skills especially in Peachtree, word and excel software programs
Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Good command of English
Good experience with inventory control
