 Analyze the business, determine opportunities to pursue and support management in the application of insights to grow sales and market share. Track performance against the selected course of action by analyzing trends and recommending action based on the insights.

Full understanding of the SAGE processing system and give support to the overall commercial function in ChaCha and Addis.


 Data interpreted into actionable insights which drive the clarification of an issue or the answering of a specific business objective.

Data Collection

  • Complete, accurate and timely data collected and reported
  • Consistency, accuracy and compliance of data collection and information reporting practices/rules ensured
  • Data flows, collection, and reporting processes continuously reviewed
  • Customer and equipment databases maintained
  • EFDAA Data base up to date and captured

Analysis and Reporting

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, annually Commercial Reporting for internal and external parties (shareholders)
  • Sales technology information managed and reports issued
  • Data quality ensured and submission timelines for reports and databases met
  • Commercial and business trends analysed
  • Commercial team and the business provided with data, information, reports, tools, and presentations for strategic decision making
  • Sales/Commercial/business data flows and reports aligned
  • Consistency, accuracy and integrity of data and reports continuously investigated/monitored
  • Data/reporting improvement initiatives/projects initiated, lead and supported
  • Exception reporting performed for commercial management decisions

Over Seeing and Data Integrity Check for other Reporting

  • Bottles and Crates report – Sales Co Ordinator

SAGE / BPM (Business Support) (No Formal Training)

  • Ensure all users proficient in the usage of SAGE / BPM System for business continuity
  • Orders correctly managed through BPM / SAGE and authorized correctly
  • Stock management – Adjustment investigation
  • Identify irregularities
  • Assist ChaCha in stock management and reporting on SAGE

Master Data Management:

  • Customer Take on to SAGE and filed
  • Master data reviewed monthly for changes
  • Master data accuracy ensured

Support Role 

Bottles and Crates:

  • Ensure cheques and processes up to date and reporting integrity


  • Ensure GPS required reports are accurate and can be interpreted to the users

Van Sales:

  • Ensure reports designed and can be interpreted for the end user


  • Invoicing reconciliation for financial controls
  • Price changes supported and communicated to CFO

Sales Support:

  • Walk-in sales managed
  • Bulk customers managed in terms of relationships. finance and controls and communication to ChaCha
  • PowerPoint learning templates designed for sales forums

ChaCha support:

Stock and invoicing support

Budgets and Forecasting

  • Annual sales volume budget and quarterly estimates compiled
  • Sales volume targets for regions and distributors compiled and distributed

People Management

  • Daily activities of direct reports managed
  • Relationships between the Business Analysis Team and the Sales, Distribution Services, Logistics, Marketing and Trade Marketing teams managed to ensure the effective and efficient collection of Commercial data, flows and reporting in the effective execution of the Commercial strategy
  • Relationships between the Business Analysis Team and the Supply Chain and Finance teams managed to ensure aligned business reporting, analysis and decision making
  • KPI’s agreed with direct reports at least twice per annum
  • Performance formally reviewed at least twice per annum
  • Regular one-on-one’s conducted with direct reports

Personal Management

  • Personal Development – SAGE Training
  • Further knowledge of the Commercial function gained by covering for peers
  • Stretch KPI’s set in agreement with manager and achieved

Job Requirements

  • MBA/BA in Business Administration and Financial Management, Economics, Marketing Accounting or related fields
  • More than 5 years experiences in FMCG
