The Company has been engaged in the supply of construction materials, rental of construction equipment & construction of buildings.

We invite qualified applicant for the following vacant position:

Summary of Duty & Responsibility:

  • Under general supervision of General Accounts Division Manager, Employee is responsible for coding, journalizing of accounting transactions, preparation of payroll, preparation payroll tax declarations, preparation of Journal Vouchers, reconciliation of accounts and bank, preparation of interim financial reports, closing book of accounts, participate in the annual physical inventory counts and other related duties

Duties & Responsibility:

  • Checks payment requests are presented according to the agreement and appropriate request
  • Code and journalize accounting transactions
  • Compare budgets with actual costs/expenses
  • Check and ensure that payment certificates are prepared in accordance with contract agreements
  • Generate financial reports/information from Peachtree accounting software as required
  • Reconciles abnormal book records
  • Code and journalize accounting transactions
  • Prepare payment and verify payment request presented with company policy
  • Posting of accounting transactions using the existing accounting software
  • Preparation of monthly payroll and wages
  • Prepare and declare income tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare pension contribution tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare withholding tax to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Prepare and declare VAT to the Ministry of Revenue monthly
  • Follow up clearance/settlement of purchases or advance payments
  • Reconciliation of Bank statement with book of recorded
  • Preparation of interim financial reports
  • Monthly reconciliation of ledger balance against bank statement
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
  • Assist in the year-end closing of book of accounts
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory counts
  • File and proper handling of financial documents
  •  Perform other related activities as required

Job Requirements

  Qualification Requirements:

Education :

  • B.A. Degree in Accounting

Work Experience :

  • 2 years & above experience.
