Job Summary/Basic Function:

The position holder shall be part of the core development team of eTech. He/she will take part in development of eTech’s core framework and other products. Requirements gathering & documentation, product design, development and operations are the major areas to which this developer(s) will contribute. Good communication skills, team spirit, eagerness to learn new things and attention to detail & quality are some of the key characteristics required of the position holders.

Duties & Responsibilities

•  Meet with stakeholders and document their requirements as per the methods and standards set by the department
• Participate in brainstorming, product definition & design discussions to build high quality products
• Contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process according to the methods, technology choices & directions of the department
• Perform other duties assigned to him /her by the immediate supervisor

 Report to: Fintech and eCommerce Manager

Term of Employment: Permanent

Number required:  1 (one)

Qualification:

•  Education: BSC, in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields

Experience:

• 4 years’ and above experience

Competencies/ Personal attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives
• Ability to solve challenging problems both individually and through team work.
• Shows integrity, commitment, willingness, and push for high standards of work quality.
• Having proactive, flexible, interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skill.
• Being creative and strategic thinker.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team displaying a good natured cooperative attitude

Technical skills

• Significant professional experience in building cross platform mobile applications using Flutter, React Native or Xamarin
• Experience working with  RESTful Web Services
• Demonstrated expertise in continuous integration/delivery/deployment
• Experience with version control systems such git or svn

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

• Have good understanding on IT professional certificates, working culture and career development.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Customer-oriented approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Responsible, punctual & solution oriented

Languages

• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Desired Criteria (An Asset)

• Experience working Flutter
• UX design experience
