Description
KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Senior Vehicle Sales Person position:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Sales Officer assists the Sales Department Manager in the overall vehicles & accessory sales activities of the company; participates in the preparation of sales action plan and schedules; Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales effort and reports the same; provides complete and relevant information to customers; prepares proforma invoices and sales orders. Receives customer complaints; investigates the same and acts to correct it. keeps sales documents safe.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in the preparation of annual action plan and budget for vehicles sales activities of the company;
- provides explanation about the make, quality, price, etc. of Company vehicles and promotes the vehicles by explaining superiority of the models;
- Maintains good relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and e-mail;
- Follow-up on customer orders till delivery is finalized.
- Ensures that vehicles & accessories are properly displayed in show rooms and that the show room is clean and attractive;
- Prepares proforma invoices and sales orders;
- Investigates customer complaints & forwards recommendations;
- Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Checks vehicle sales contracts, issue orders, invoices and other relevant documents;
- Prepares daily, weekly, monthly semi-annually, and sales reports;
- Follow-up any defects if revealed on handing over a vehicle to the customer and ensures that correction has been made.
- Maintains vehicles sales activity records and reports;
- Responds to sales inquiries in person or via phone, e-mail, fax, etc.;
- Maintains good relationships with customers and sales staff.
- Maintains a computerized data base of customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualification : B.A. Degree in Marketing & Sales Management, Business Administration, and other related field of study
Work Experience : 4 year for B.A. Degree with relevant sales & marketing skill in vehicle sales; preferably on ISUZU vehicles, trucks or machinery
Required Competence : Interpersonal, Communication, customer service and computer application
