The St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College was established in 2007 with an intention of alleviating the severe shortage of medical doctors in the country. It has expanded within a short time and in addition to the undergraduate medical education it has  postgraduate program in all major clinical disciplines and subspecialty programs in selected fields. It is also engaged in various research and community services.

With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic the college has established a COVID-19 treatment center. The treatment center would be one of the many treatment centers being established for the care of COVID-19 cases in the country. Parallel to the preparation of the treatment center, the college has also established a research team.  The team is working to systematically collect data from the cases managed at the center to generate evidence.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The post-holder will work full-time at SPHMMC and will be responsible for collecting entering data into the data base and do phone follow-up of patients based on the standards set.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily receiving/collecting of screenshot data from the health care providers
• Data entry of the case reporting formats into a database
• Follow-up of COVID-19 patients enrolled into the study using a phone follow-up

Employment modality:  Full time, contractual basis

Duration of contract :  6 months with likely extension

Essential requirements

• Should have a minimum of BSc degree in nursing, HO, midwifery
• Has a previous data collection experience in data collection preferably electronic data collection
