Main Responsibilities

The main role of the System Administrator is to assist company clients to build, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure and enterprise systems. As such, s/he is required to:

• Provide support to our clients
• Ensure that all support requests are handled effectively
• Ensure that all clients’ systems are operating optimally
• Monitoring servers, network devices and taking backups
• Troubleshooting of basic system (hardware/software) and network related issues
• Setup and configure new network devices
• Install, maintain and support data security system
• Troubleshooting of issues with VPN and Internet access
• Escalating IT issues to our company where necessary

Essential Skills/abilities

Possess 2 years of experience in basic System & Network administration

•  Have good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server & skill in writing SQL query
• Have good knowledge of coding in one or more of: ASP.NET, C#, PHP
• Knowledge of networking concepts and TCP/IP
• Should be a Quick leaner and have positive attitude
• Very Good Spoken Communication skills
• Good Written & Organizational skills
• Should be able to multitask

Desirable Skills/abilities

• Certifications: (Not required) but certifications like MCP, CCNA are a plus
• Experience of ERP systems: (Not required) but working knowledge has a plus
• Be customer service oriented
• Have team spirit
