The TARGET Technical Expert (TTE) for Education Management Information System (EMIS) will work with the Ministry to strengthen EMIS capacity as well as to ensure that EMIS-prioritised objectives and activities are implemented across all regions through the delivery approach, including timely data collection, analysis, and use for decision making. The TTE will coordinate the proactive identification of key issues in as well as school leadership activities or initiatives, analytical and technical problem solving on these issues, and reporting and escalation for senior decision-making. S/he will be a core member of the Ministry-TARGET delivery team and collaborate closely with other federal-level TTEs. S/he will oversee and liaise with regional TTEs in relation to outcomes-led planning and strategic delivery in relation to EMIS at regional level. The TTE for EMIS will be based at the MoE and will be liaise closely with the State Minister for Education Development and EMIS Directorate. S/he will represent and report to relevant ministry and TARGET task teams. S/he will work closely with Task 1 and Task 4 TARGET leads and collaborate with others as necessary. S/he will be directly accountable to the TTE Delivery Team Leader.
