The TARGET Technical Expert (TTE) for National Learning Assessment (NLA) will strengthen ministry capacity to ensure that NLA-prioritised objectives and activities are implemented across all regions. The TTE will coordinate the proactive identification of key issues in school leadership activities or initiatives, analytical and technical problem solving on these issues, and reporting and escalation for senior decision-making to ensure that NLA objectives are embedded by and implemented through the delivery approach. S/he will be a core member of the Ministry-TARGET delivery team and collaborate closely with other federal-level TTEs. S/he will oversee and liaise with regional TTEs in relation to NLA. S/he will work closely within the Ministry to align the new education sector priority of digitalizing the education system with TARGET priorities in line with the Ministry’s Digital Transformation of Education Sector Technology agenda. The TTE for NLA will be based at the MoE and will be liaising closely with the State Minister for Quality Assurance and NLA Directorate. S/he will represent and report to relevant ministry and TARGET task teams, working especially with TARGET Task 1 and 4 leads. S/he will collaborate with other TARGET Leads as appropriate. S/he will be directly accountable to the TTE Delivery Team Leader.
