The TARGET Technical Expert (TTE) for School Leadership CPD will work closely as a change agent with key stakeholders including Regional Education Bureaus (REBs), Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs), woreda officials and cluster supervisors to develop a strong culture of delivery of reformed CPD for school leaders. S/he will be a core member of the Ministry-TARGET delivery team and collaborate closely with other federal-level TTEs. S/he will ensure that MoE TELD is capacitated to align the leadership training reform with existing FMoE and REB structure and directions (The Digital – Transformation of Education Sector Technology (D-TEST). S/he will oversee and liaise with regional TTEs in relation to piloting strengthened school leader CPD and scale up at regional level. The TTE for school leadership CPD will be based at the MoE and liaise closely with the State Minister for Education Development and Teacher Education Leadership Directorate (TELD). S/he will also collaborate closely with The School Improvement (SIP) Directorate and enable effective collaboration between the directorates. S/he will represent and report to relevant ministry and TARGET task teams. S/he will work closely with TARGET Task 3 lead and collaborate closely with other TARGET task leads as appropriate. S/he will be directly accountable to the TTE Delivery Team Leader.
