Description

The goal of the Ethiopia IMC protection from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (PSEA) project is to create environment which protects individuals and communities and enforce zero tolerance for attempted and actual acts of SEA. The GBV/PSEA trainer of IMC GBV will manage the training plan under the PSEA project in the targeted woredas. He or she will actively collaborate with other sectors and implementing partners on PSEA issues and represent IMC in all PSEA related meeting at national level, if necessary.

·         Reviewing training materials/ tools and guidelines  training manual and adherence to national and global them accordingly and  submit  training outline

·         Develop TOR ( term of reference) for each training

·         Set a criteria for selection of training participants

·         Manage and utilize allocated budget of the training appropriately

·         Train IMC program staff, volunteers, and partners on PSEA

·         Train IMC case workers to address specific complexities and needs of SEA cases ,particularly in terms of protection/safety

·         Train other service providers to strengthen GBV/SEA and survivor-centered response services

·         Train IMC program staff, WACO ,volunteers and partners in PSEA

·         Train WACO in GBV case management , including the specifics of SEA case management

·         Organize and co-facilitate CMR/IPV training for health care providers for targeted woreda of Oromia

·         Work closely with other GBV team with collaboration

·         Submit a final training report including detailing lessons learnt and recommendations within 10 days following the completion of the training

·         Contribute to a positive IMC team environment

Perform other duties as assigned in the implementation of program activities.

Job Requirements

·      Sociology, social work or Reproductive Health or related experience

·      Background in SGBV, Human Rights and/or Protection.

·      Experience in providing  training

·      Fluency in English is required

·       Comfort to  traveling to Dollo, Gambella and East Hareger of Oromiya  to conduct the planned training activity
