Project Officer

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Project Officer who would be will work with officials technical advisors and experts in the implementing partner ensuring successful programme management and optimal harmonization and alignment. S/he is also expected to closely work with the Programme and Operations Teams in UNDP.
Contract type
Service contract (SB4) - * Service Contract is a non-staff contractual modality.
Duration: One year (renewable).
Qualification and experience: B.A/M.A. Degree in Law, Human Rights, Political Science, International Relations or related field.

Interested applicants must have at least four years (six years with B.A. Degree) of relevant experience in programme/project management preferably in governance related programmes and/or projects; experience in multi-stakeholder facilitation and consensus building and have good understanding of UNDP programming modalities, particularly in governance programmes and/or projects.
